Hi all!
I am so blessed that I got into both vandy and cornell for transfer :)

I got into vandy CS in engineering school and Cornell Info Sci (plan to do data science concentration) in CALS

Cornell is 10k cheaper but like cost is not that big of problem in choice making.

I plan on doing PM (product management) in the future, not like pure swe.

So I wasn’t sure which choice might be a wise choice. Since CS might seem more appealing to recruiters. And like a lot of ppl go from swe to pm so i was worried that i might start off from there??

for social stuff outside of js academics, I am lowkey worried about cornell’s depression and grade deflation stuff but also vandy might be heavy on greek so please let me know! It’s hard for me to choose 😭

i js got accepted to vandy engineering

and i kinda got unlucky with professor and course for my linear algebra i might end up with a C.

+ I might get B+ in chemistry as well... do u think my offer will get rescinded? < /3 other things are all As tho

like best possible scenario i will be finishing this semester with 3.65 ish.. (due to C+ in linear)

worst possible scneario it might be like 3.35..

please let me know im a bit worried! i js went through a lot of stress and took way harder courses this sem bc of change in major to engneering related

hi guys if i trasnfer to vandy, does my gpa start over? or is it gunna be cumulative along with my old uni?

and how would transcript look like? if any transffered studet knows about this.

I lowkey messed up my second semester of freshmen year haha.. in my current uni so im a bit worried

and how does recruiting/ resume work tho? if you dont have gpa in a new transffered school
