Did Billy Corgan or Gavin Rossdale ever write a great hook again after main success period?

I have these guys chances for a good two decades and never heard anything close to their peaks. Usually you would expect a couple songs that can hold up with their best but it seems like these two in particular intentionally refuse to write a catchy guitar riff or melodic hook after earning all their success on it. Would love some recs if you all feel there are some standouts that eventually came out?

Strangers is their best single since Maladroit and all I ever wanted as a long time fan

I spent much of my formative years in the 2000s wandering around afterschool or between classes listening to Blue, Pinkerton, Green, Maladroit, and the Alone I and II albums on an iPod. Those albums became the soundtrack to my life at the time. Through the ups and downs I’ve enjoyed all Weezer albums to some degree but always was holding out for that one song that would really take me back to that era of the first 4 albums and Alones. I’ve been elated at their resurgence since EWBAITE, though I feel like they were always just so close to hitting the right single on all fronts. With WMAWBS I feel like they really knocked it out of the park. It has everything a Weezer fan could want and has the hallmarks of a great single. Don’t get me wrong, there has been S-tier material along the whole way, but to me this is the single I was waiting for for all of these years that checks every single box. Truly impressed and happy. Thanks guys.

What to expect for summer snowboarding this month?

I have a chance to head up to Oregon from California for the first time potentially for a Friday through Monday stretch one of the upcoming weeks. With the short season here in Southern California and Mammoth closing this weekend, I was hoping for a last hoorah and first trip at Timberline. My standards are not high at all I have a great time summer snowboarding at Mammoth and even during a bad season at a small place like Mt High. I will say though the Palmer / Silcox webcam today scared me a bit like wherever that webcam is pointing seems to be on its last legs but I can’t find anything else currently on Instagram or elsewhere. Is there expected to actually be a close to typical summer ski season this year? Anywhere that I can see the conditions better than the official webcam? Thanks all!

Unbreakable or You Rock My World as your Invincible first single choice?

Currently obsessed with You Rock My World, and I’m glad it was relatively successful as a single, but I read MJ had pushed hard for Unbreakable as the first single. I do think it would have been the better choice in terms of generating excitement and being a mission statement type song, like Scream. Although a bit of a repeat of HIStory single formula, after so many years off I think he needed something more aggressive for the comeback song than YRMW. What do you all think? YRMW was the right choice? Or was MJ’s intuition likely better?
