Hi, I’m currently planning a family camping trip in a few weeks. Our crew includes: 3 adults + 1-year-old + 6-year-old. As an over-planner that’s not well versed in camping, the anxiety is already setting in 😅 I have a few questions, but any tips/advice would be greatly appreciated 🙏🏼
Does my 1-year-old need a sleeping bag or would a snow suit suffice?
Sleeping pad vs cot vs inflatable mattress: which option would be best for myself, my husband, two littles, and my mom? Ie: comfort, durability, bulkiness, etc…
If the sleeping pad + sleeping bag is the way to go… I see there are varying degrees for sleeping pads. Should I go ahead and get a level 4 or 5 even though I’m camping during summer so we would be able to use it during cooler months as well? We are from CA so I don’t think I’d need anything above a 5.
As far as tents go, is this good quality/enough space for 3 adults + 2 kiddos ?
