What is this thing?
… it looks like my infernus marine has brought a transistor radio to the firefight. Which IMHO would be cool, but I’m guessing that’s not the case, and as such I’ve no clue how to paint this thing 🤷♀️
Hiya - with most news of John Sterling’s passing (justifiably) mentioning the number of games he’s called: I’m wondering if anybody knows if there’s a stat list somewhere of MLB broadcasters in general? I’m curious how high in the list Sterling would be.
Vin Sculley apparently called 9000+, Ernie Harwell called 8500+, Bob Ueker obviously called a lot (can’t find a stat), Denny Matthews I’m guessing is near 9000 by now.
The names I know I can look up, but given how stat-oriented baseball is: I’m _guessing_ something like this exists & that the issue is that my Google-fu sucks.
Hi all - I’m just getting back into D&D (last played in ’84) and I need to bring my stuff to games. Since I need to bring dice and a dice tray and pencils and sheets and books and whatever: I grabbed a 9x12 box from the craft store. Then I added foam to the inside so it could double as a dice tray during the game (I’d put the character sheet in the bottom of the tray & store the rest of my books below the box).
I think this will work well, in that the dice tray will take up no extra space. But I’ve not seen anyone else doing this, so I’m guessing there’s something that I’ve overlooked because I’m a n00b. Anyone spot an issue with this?
Note that updating the sheet works ok / having this at the bottom of the tray doesn’t seem to be annoying 🤷♀️
