Platform:
Web browser, desktop/laptop and nothing to download. Currently not designed for Mobile but I'd like to approach Mobile compatibility at some point.

Description:
Baseplate.World is a shared brick-building world that runs in your browser. Everyone builds on the same endless studded baseplate. You claim a few cells of land as your own baseplate and build whatever you like on it, brick by brick: houses, towers, pixel art, gardens. Your neighbours build right next door. Bricks refill over time, so it's a place to build a little every day rather than all at once.

There are plenty of pieces: bricks, plates, slopes, windows and doors that open, furniture you can sit on, and lamps and ceiling lights that light the room. A TV glows when you switch it on. The world has a day and night cycle, and at night lit builds really stand out.

There are also:

• Levels and ranks. Building earns them, along with gold bricks to spend in a store on finishes (metal, wood, glow, rainbow), effects (flames, smoke, fireflies), hats, emotes and a pet chicken that follows you around.
• Social features. Visit other players' baseplates, like them, sign their guestbook, add friends and form guilds that can build together. You can even stack players on each other's heads.
• Screenshots and a gallery. Press F2 to take a screenshot. It goes into a gallery on your profile, and you can hang your pictures in picture frames on your walls.

It's in beta and changing fast. There will likely be small server blips here and there as new updates get deployed. I'd really like feedback on what's fun, what's confusing, and how it runs on your machine. There's an opt-in performance report in Settings that helps a lot. And of course, for playing in the Beta, you will get a Beta Tester hat!

A note on moderation (since a shared building game raises it straight away):

• Your land is yours. Nobody can build on, change or remove anything on your baseplate unless you give them permission, so griefing your build isn't possible.
• Text is filtered. Names, guild names, chat, signs, guestbook entries and save names go through a word filter. Slurs are blocked everywhere, and swearing is blocked in names and hidden in chat by default.
• Reports and blocking. You can report a player or their baseplate for hate symbols, offensive words, sexual content or harassment. Reporting someone also hides their builds, signs and chat from you straight away, and you can block players by hand too.
