P. terriblis ‘mint’, they’re about a year and 3 months old or so. None of them have called yet. There’s three, last one has two photos. I’m thinking female, male, female? The second one has a black stripe down its throat.

I’ve been in a lock where i have a goal to make all the characters base designs (i have about 4-5 more) and then I will allow myself to animate them. I’ve already animated characters a couple times and have had to go back to refine a design as my style evolves, which pretty much scraps the animation.

I’ve been on/off developing the art for a topdown pixel game I aspire to make for about 3 months. Here’s some snapshots of characters I’ve worked on + a wip environment (which i keep doing the rework on as well 😖). I’ve traditionally and digitally done tons of art, but pixel art is something that I’m growing into.

Do you guys have any advice for finalizing a character design? Thanks and appreciate your time!!

I got this shallow 13.3gal tank and want to set it up as a river/stream style for a school of white cloud mountain minnows. Potentially 2-3 corydora as well. Will likely not keep the lid on the tank. I’d like to model my aquascape similar to the second photo from @MJAquascaping on YouTube. Any recommendations on aesthetic filter/pumps, lights, and co2 injection methods appreciated! I have an amazon gift card from christmas i’ve been waiting to use on this project so extra nice if from there 🙂

Please don’t come at me if I’ve made a mistake, which I feel that I have. This tank is ~2.5gal of conditioned water + sponge filter and when I went to the fish store I was interested in shrimp mostly, but after I asked if any fish would be suitable he recommended white cloud minnows.

He told me I should only get 2 due to my tank size. Now that I’m looking them up it seems this school size and bowl size are too small. I’m not sure what I can do because getting a bigger tank would not be an option for some time. The fish seem to be actively swimming around and exploring the new tank. I knew white clouds were hardy but didn’t know more details besides the clerks recommendation when i bought them. He seemed knowledgeable but now I’m worried I’ve put these fish in a place they’re unhappy. Should I just get 3-4 more for the school? Try to give them back? Thoughts / advice?? Please be nice 😭💙
