I converted a stock P2000 V2 to 4.1. According to this chart, I'm still using the V2 hammer spring (part 214695). Does anyone know or have experience with changing the hammer spring to the Light LEM HS (part 214300)? Would this create any issues?

The thought of owning a Baer has crossed my mind for a while now, but knowing they have a love/hate reputation I wanted to wait for a decent deal to pop up on a used piece. From what I’ve come to understand about Baer’s, I’m anticipating a whole lot of 1911 for $1600. I don’t mind a few tool marks and quirky finishing, if that comes with the territory… I’ve always loved the idea in all things I purchase of top end performance and reliability without all the flair.
Also nobody does a two-tone like Baer. So soulful, simple, and all-business. I needed exactly this to scratch the itch.
Anyone know how quick their shop is for replacing parts if I wanted to axe the ambi safety?
I have pretty low grade astigmatism and the few red dots I’ve used all give me a starburst pattern, so it’d be really nice to be able to actually see if there are any optics that would work for me. Different quality glass, green dots, etc.
Anything like this in town?
