New to this! Any tips on getting the face more into focus? My camera does not have automatic photo stacking capabilities.

Damselfly

Damselflies can be distinguished from dragonflies because of their smaller bodies, wide-spaced eyes, and they often rest with their wings put together, unlike dragonflies that rest with their wings spread apart.

Damselflies have been around for over 200 million years (before dinosaurs!) and can be found on every continent except Antarctica. Damselflies play an important ecological role helping to measure water quality issues, as they require clean water that harbors certain vegetation to survive. Damselflies can be found most often in wetlands, marshes, and near freshwater sources.
