Now House by Jonathan Adler, Galison (1000 pieces)
This one came together faster than expected. Pieces were a little flimsy, and there were only two piece shapes so the puzzling experience was more meditative at times. But it’s nice to look at 😊

Completed this thrift store find this morning! A little trickier than anticipated; the pieces also only came in 2 shapes so it got a little boring after a while. The pieces also locked in sort of a crunchy way which didn’t detract from the puzzling experience overall but was sort of weird lol. Onto the next!
Finally finished this one from a thrift store haul a few weeks ago! It was more challenging than I thought it would be and the art is just OK imo (though very seasonal) but I liked the feel of the pieces. I’ll be looking for more Ravensburgers in thrift stores in the future!
My first random-cut / NY Puzzle Company puzzle! Overall really enjoyable. The pieces do have a looser fit but it was satisfying to slide them into place. The shapes made this one challenging but it was fun to try something different. Sad that one piece is missing but that’s the risk of thrift store puzzles!
Unfortunately this was not a fun puzzle for me! The brown/black section was basically brute force and took hours because the puzzle shapes were too similar. The print was also not great quality. But at least all the pieces were there so I can trade it for something I like more at a swap later! Definitely not doing any more art puzzles for a while lol.
My first Charles Wysocki - charming puzzle overall and I enjoyed all the little details! It was a good palate cleanser between other puzzles with more monotonous colors and patterns.
Picked this one up at the thrift store for just under $2 last weekend and finished it today! I liked the matte finish of the pieces and it was fun to work on an abstract and repetitive pattern as a new challenge. I felt lucky that no pieces were missing as well and will be saving it for a puzzle swap later this summer!
