Doors Slamming on Me

Purchased a new 2027 Hybrid SxP. One dangerous annoyance I am experiencing is that when we park in our steep driveway the doors can slam shut even if I take it back all the way. I’ve been crushed a couple times and now my wife and kids have had it happen to them.

I have 2021 Ex nightshade that never did this. Yes the doors are heavier but you think they would have had stronger hinges if that was the case.

Anybody else experiencing this? Is there any type of requirements they have to follow? I have to take the car in to get the tint redone as it was messed up. I will be asking then but wanted to check here as well.

So I just leased what I thought was a new 2027 Hybrid SX Prestige. Signed paperwork mileage which said 14 miles. I get home and notice the mileage was 814! I called the sales guy right away and he said they had to drive it from Oklahoma. Not to worry about it as he was going to tell the finance guy and adjust it so my mileage would start there.

I am pretty concerned as I leased what I thought was a new car. now I notice the interior headliner has all these handprints on it.

I really thought I had finally found a Kia dealer that was honest and straightforward.

How concerned should I be? Is this normal?
