Just curious if anyone else has experienced this. We took our kia telluride to the dealership on June third for the recall on the oem. We'll they fixed the recall but the recall parts were not working. So they had to re-order the parts (re-recall) and we are going on officially a month that my car is stuck at the dealerahip. They said they cannot give us the car back because it is not safe. Apparently there are no seats. I do have a loaner from the dealership so im not to put out, but im paying on and I miss my car. There are no updates on if the order is in progress its just ordered. I know there are lemon laws and stuff but is this normal?
Traded my ‘24 Telluride SXP X-Line for the ‘27 Telluride SXP X-Line Hybrid.
I can’t find it
Just checking to see if anyone is getting the rated MPG on the new hybrid. I’m still on the first tank of gas from the dealer, and 26.8 isn’t bad for a big SUV this size, but getting nowhere near 30+.
For reference is this SX Prestige X-Line AWD and this was country back roads doing about 40-50mph the whole way with a few traffic lights. Also driving the whole way in ECO mode. And trying to “hyper mile” when I can.
Additional info: today it was about 95° and has the AC set to 73° in the front and rear. 2 adults and 1 baby in the car.
In the search for a new 2027 Kia telluride and this is what I was able to get from my first stop. Would like to know what you guys were able to get and if I should look for a bigger discount or is this as good as it gets.
Looking to hook up a U-Haul trailer for a road trip. Anybody have experience putting in a wiring harness. Watched the video on U-Haul and seems pretty easy hooking up the adapters to the tail lights but I was surprised to see that a lead needed to go to the battery. Figured the power just came through the existing tail lights. Does anyone have a link to one they had used and can confirm it needs the battery power or just the tail lights are fine. I saw one available on e-trailer. Ty
Love the car. I am so glad that I got the Hybrid. Currently getting 28mpg this entire road trip and I have not been driving efficiently by any means.
I got 3k off the msrp. And yes, seats could be a tad bit more comfortable but for us, without a shadow of doubt, we loved the design inside out and wanted this car. No regrets.
Lemme know in case of any questions.
Just bought a 2027 Telluride X-Line SX Prestige today. Does it have walk-away auto-lock?
With the retractable handles, it’s pretty obvious when the car is unlocked, so I’m hoping there’s a setting I’m missing. Thanks!
I just bought a 2027 Telluride X-Line SX Prestige today and noticed an issue when I’m parked in front of my house.
When I try to connect my phone to my home Wi-Fi, it says I need to disconnect from Kia Connect / the Telluride connection first. I hit yes, it disconnects, but then it immediately reconnects to the car, so my phone won’t stay connected to my home internet.
Has anyone else run into this? Is there a setting to stop the phone from auto-reconnecting to the car when parked at home?
Bought a 2027 Telly xline sx trim. White with brown interior. Anyways my question is this, has anyone added a dash cam to your new telluride? I’m wondering if it seems okay to do so with the advanced technology of the telluride . I don’t want to mess up the computer system by adding more
Hello, I'm looking for advice from anyone who's dealt with oil consumption warranty issues.
I have a 2021 Kia Telluride with about 92,000 miles. For the past two years, we've been trying to figure out why this vehicle keeps losing oil. Long before my scheduled oil changes, the vehicle will start to shake when idle. It progressively gets worse until I go to the dealership for an oil change. If I dont immediately, the car will shake worse and worse and recently, it’ll completely shut down. No oil warning lights come on but there will be no oil left on the stick.
Every time we've brought it to the dealership, our concerns have essentially been dismissed. They would either perform an oil change or simply top off the oil to stop the issue and send us on our way without really investigating why it kept happening.
Over that time, they've replaced the oil pan, oil filter housing gasket, and oil valves, but the issue still hasn't been resolved.
Most recently, Kia had us complete an official 1,000 mile oil consumption test. The dealership says the vehicle consumed about ½ quart, which they claim is consuming but "within range," so they won't approve an engine replacement.
At this point I’m just lost. What would you do next if you were in my position? Any advice or similar experiences would be greatly appreciated.
I’ve gotta vent for a minute and see if anyone else has dealt with this.
I live in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, the 4th largest metro area in the U.S., and somehow I can’t find a 2027 Telluride EX X-Line AWD in Panthera Metal Matte anywhere.
I signed for one on June 22. The first one got sold before I ever got it, so I had to go back the next day and sign paperwork on another one.
Since then the ETA has gone from the end of June, to July 9, then July 5, and now July 13.
I even found another Panthera Metal Matte one at another dealership, but before my dealership could get it transferred, someone put a deposit on it that same day.
At this point I’m just trying to figure out if this is normal or if I’ve got the worst luck ever.
Has anyone else had this much trouble finding Panthera Metal Matte? Are the ETA dates from Kia usually this all over the place? Is there any way to track a vehicle once it says “Port Allocated?”
I’m willing to wait if I have to because I really want this color, but it’s crazy to me that I’m in one of the biggest car markets in the country and there are basically none available.
2027 Hybrid XLine SX Prestige. Have had it for a little over a month now and can not get the speed limit to auto update when using ACC on an HDA highway. I've got it turned on in settings and I think everything is set correctly. Heads up display for example.
I had the 22 SX Prestige and when on HDA and set to the exact speed limit the number would turn green and I'd get a ding. Then when the highway speed limit changed it would ding again and update. But that does not seem to be happening on the 27 Hybrid.
Is there anyone who has run into this? What was the fix?
Apparently my friend thought it was reasonable to pay $50k for it. Said, “but they’re dropping it from $53k”.
That price was NOT including taxes and fees. Browsing this sub has me thinking other wise but would love some feedback. Open to being wrong on this!
Carfax has the accident reported as “minor - airbags did not deploy”. It doesn’t disclose the exact location on the vehicle.
I would have paid ~$46k. The black on black on black is nice and it has a great interior.
What would you pay? Or would you avoid all together?
Still comes with warranty.
Edit: Car was purchased for $50k before taxes.
Finally decided to pull the trigger after months of casually shopping. Pretty sweet deal on a 2027 X-Line SX in California (Central Coast Area). Almost 2 weeks as the daily driver, no complaints yet.
This manual link implies the windows can go both up and down. However on my 23 x-line it only seems to go down and not up. Any ideas what's happening?
I took my 2027 XPro XS Prestige into the dealership this week for a couple reasons: going up steep-ish hills especially after slowing down or stopping it just doesn’t like to go, it has sat at 0 mph yet rpm’s stayed at 3,000, and when trying to accelerate up a steeper hill it got stuck in a high gear and would barely more forward.
The dealership said “verified vehicle operating as designed at this time”.
Is this something I am just not used to or do I have a legitimate concern?
I've been looking to purchase this car in South Florida ever since it came out, so I spent a lot of time researching pricing.
I bought the 2027 Telluride SX. White pearl color with Deep Navy/Tuscan Umber interior.
When I first started shopping, the best out-the-door (OTD) price I could find was $54,700 (including all taxes and fees). This month I received my two lowest quotes: $53,500 OTD and $53,070 OTD, which is the deal I ultimately went with.
On top of that, I negotiated for full window tint and a full tank of gas before taking delivery. It may not sound like much, but every little bit counts. I pushed hard for the all-weather floor mats, but they wouldn't budge. They did, however, offer to sell them to me at their cost.
I also wanted to share my experience because I've been lurking in this group for months. Reading everyone else's posts helped me a ton, so hopefully this helps someone else who's currently shopping.
I was also trading in my 2023 BMW X1. The highest trade-in offer I received elsewhere was $24,400, but the dealership I bought from gave me just over $26,000, which made a big difference.
Overall, I feel like I did really well on this deal.
My biggest recommendation is to negotiate everything over the phone or by email before ever stepping into the dealership. It gives you time to collect multiple quotes, compare offers, and negotiate without feeling pressured. By the time I arrived, everything had already been agreed upon, so the buying process was quick, easy, and well worth my time.
How do you guys think I did?
