Food tip

This may be something everyone already knows, but I thought I’d pass it along in case not. I’ve been on the Wegovy pill since March 8, and am now four pounds from my goal. This is great and everything, but once I got to the 9mg dose, my nutritional intake has been pretty bad… That is, I have a hard time eating, as my hunger has withdrawn so much. So today I decided to eat my “big meal” at noon instead of waiting until later in the day, when I am never hungry. I think it worked; that is, I was able to eat better quality food re: nutrients. Usually I have no hunger at all by late afternoon, so for me, this is great. I ate about half a salad (really just lettuce, shaved Parmesan, and a bit of Caesar dressing) and about two-thirds of a crab cake. Not a lot, but it will help me start on a better nutritional approach. Bottom line: I have some appetite early in the day, so I’ll start taking advantage of that. My gut health has been shot to hell, and I hope this approach will help me get back in a more helpful eating pattern. That, and concentrating on drinking kefir again and having yogurt everyday.
