Danner light boots cracking on creases

I’ve had these Danner light for almost 5 years and have used them as my go-to hiking boots/rain boots. I’ve always made sure to clean them up and use leather soap and Danner’s own brand of wax after significant usage or periods of time.

About a year ago I noticed the leather starting to split or crack around the crease points. Is this just normal wear of the top layer or are these beyond repair? I’ve noted one especially large break on the inner side of the left boot that seems a little deep. Any thoughts or advice going forward appreciated
