I recently booked an award ticket nonstop round-trip flight from JFK to Hong Kong on Cathay Pacific in economy. This will be my first time flying Cathay Pacific and one of my longest nonstop flights.

For anyone who has flown this route in economy, how was your experience? Were the seats reasonably comfortable for such a long flight? How were the legroom, food, entertainment and overall service?

I’m 6’2”, so I’m especially interested in hearing about the legroom. I would also appreciate any recommendations about the best seats to select or things I should bring to make the flight more comfortable.

I recently booked a round-trip economy ticket from JFK to Hong Kong on Cathay Pacific through the Atmos Rewards Global Getaway promotion.
Both flights are nonstop, and the entire round trip cost 68,000 Atmos Rewards points plus taxes and fees. This will be my first time redeeming points for a long-haul international flight.
For those familiar with Atmos Rewards or award travel, would you consider this a good redemption? How does it compare with other ways I could have used 68,000 Atmos points?
I’m happy with the booking either way, but I’m curious how more experienced points travelers would evaluate it.
