We inherited them this way and I think the gauzy material is ugly and dated. What would some options be that still obscure the view of the inside of the house from the outside, but still let light in?

Edit: Thanks, folks! I’m aware that window films exist and for whatever reason it didn’t occur to me that they’d be an option here. Perfect solution.
