Feelgood Fatcat III & Old Steed III - More pickups more fun!

Howdy gang! 🤠

Just finished up this triple pickup "Old Steed III" and i instantly was reminded of an almost matching Fatcat build we finished up last year. Both are an absolute dream to play and with the Bass VI style wiring and 3 pickups, they actually manage to capture a little strat style middle position quack! I think triple pickup offsets are sorely underrated and underrepresented, and this is my way of inspiring you all to consider a triple pickup future lol

Old Steed III - Alder body, maple neck, "hippie stain" brown closet clean nitro finish with matching neck. Tort guard, Custom set of 3 Tone Hatch handwound jaguar pickups, Bass VI wiring

Fatcat III - Alder body, maple neck, B&B, 3-tone "Target Burst" nitro finish, Spitfire tort guard, 3x Custom Jaguar pickups, Bass VI wiring

I feel like these just look too good side by side! Which is your favorite??

Short scale offset style meets Tele-style twang - Feelgood Bloomer

Howdy gang! 🤠

Meet the Bloomer, an all new 24" scale offset design from Feelgood Guitars.

The inspiration behind this model comes from my background as a certified Tele Guy™ before discovering strats and subsequently offsets, which became my ultimate loves. When I started brainstorming new design ideas, I envisioned a guitar that packs the twang and sonic character of my beloved T-style guitars, but provides it in a compact, comfortable short scale offset package.

The first example shown here in Mochaburst nitro went home at the end of last year, and we're working on #2 as we speak! The others are digital mockups showing some alternate colorways and showing some of the possibilities. I do think this shape would look SICK with an offset vibrato and bridge though... 🧐

What do you guys think? Would you prefer it full scale or dig the short 24" scale? Leave the tele bridge or throw a vibrato on? Lemme know!

Howdy gang! 🤠

Meet Space Cadet, my first original design we introduced at Feelgood Guitars back in 2023.

The shape started out as a pencil sketch and is inspired by the shape of a "starburst" or bursting star 💥 giving it a fresh space-age inspired look. But functionally, it aims to offer a platform that feels instantly familiar and comfortable to fans of Mustangs and Jaguar style guitars, blending the best of both worlds; 24" scale length, comfortable lightweight alder body, single coil pickups, and an offset vibrato (or whatever style of bridge/vibrato you can dream up!)

What are you guys' thoughts? What would you envision for this shape, or what parts/finish/etc would you throw on a custom of your own?

And p.s. yes there's a bass version!!
