Does anyone remember what stood before the Westside market on 110/broadway? I distinctly remember them building it and the apartments upstairs but neither I nor my parents can remember what (if any) store was there before. I went to school just across the street and was probably 10/11 when it went up so this would have been at least 17 years ago. This is not important at all but I’m super curious now and don’t want to pay $1 to search through property records because I’m cheap

Has anyone done dinner at the bar here? I managed to snag a primetime reservation for my birthday next month but it’s at the bar and I don’t know if it’s worth it, especially for a celebration (it’ll just be me and my boyfriend). This would be my first time so I’m not sure if the bar situation is uncomfortable for a full dinner and am curious to hear from anyone who’s done it/seen it! I have backup reservations at La Boca and Cecchi’s but obv not as special
