Just finished a 4,500 mile solo trip to Canada
I had a few weeks off work, so I packed my Tiger 900 up and rode from Colorado to Canada via Wyoming and Montana. About 4,500 miles total.
I took three days to get from Denver to Banff, rode up to Jasper, over to Revelstoke, and carried on to the west side of Vancouver Island. I rode to the east side of the island and then stopped in Nelson before riding home.
Conditions were pretty variable. I rode through a lot of rain and temps down to the high 20s F. A snowstorm on Teton Pass with no pinlock was the most exciting riding of the trip. The bike and my gear did great and kept me comfortable the whole time.
It was great to do another big ride like this. It’d been about 5 years since I rode the pacific coast on the same bike and while the bike hasn‘t lost its ability, I can tell my body doesn’t take the miles quite as well as it used to.
