Hi everyone

I picked up my new 7X on Friday and have been unable to create the digital key on my iPhone. During pickup, the dealer said it may take a few hours before it works, but still not working two days later.

I am using an iPhone 18 Pro on iOS 27.0.1 and the car is on the latest v2.1.1b.

When attempting to make the key, I get the Apple Wallet prompt on the phone, but after a few seconds the car tells me “no smartphone detected”.

The phone is paired with Bluetooth and wireless CarPlay is working perfectly.

I have tried reinstalling the Zeekr app on my phone, restarting Bluetooth, restarting the phone and restarting the communications on the car. I have tried with the phone on the RHS charging pad and also tried using both the key fob and card key, all with the same outcome.

Any ideas on things I can try next??-
