Has anyone stayed at the meadowbrook recently? I’ve checked out reviews online but there are very few from the last year and they are mixed. We have four nights booked there and I’m getting worried it was a bad idea based on some of what I’ve found. However they are totally booked for that weekend so maybe it’s not all bad?
We have a very lovely bathroom in our Mediterranean style home, built approximately in 1924-1928 (every official document has a different date, which adds to its charm). We think the bathroom is original, but would be great to hear what others see.
Our showerhead just broke and we’d like to upgrade all the fixtures at once. Is polished chrome the typical finish for this era? Would a satin nickel or bronze work instead? We found some vintage looking kohler and jaclo fixtures that may work, but any suggestions for brands would also be appreciated.
The only handprint I have for my kid is in this foam like material from a Christmas ornament kit. I think the material is slowly degrading and don’t want to lose the handprint. Is there any way to cast this from a foam impression? Any and all advice would be appreciated, don’t even know where to begin or what kind of craftsperson to speak with about this.
My 6yo chicken has been like this for about a week. We thought she was broody at first since she was sitting in one spot. Her comb is flopped over slightly but improving in color. She’s got a hunched back posture though she can stand up straight if needed. Her butt is very dirty with some dried poop (planing to give her a bath tonight). I can’t feel any stuck egg, she’s not swollen and her abdomen feels normal.
What could be affecting her? Anything for treatment beyond the bath? She’s walking more now and eating again after a few days of doing neither.
