Are these counterfeit?
Hello.
Trying to know if the boots I'm about to purchase from a friend are legitimate.
Thanks.

Hello.
Trying to know if the boots I'm about to purchase from a friend are legitimate.
Thanks.
I bought a 200W USB charger that was offered with a Lifetime warranty. This Product ended up being poorly manufactured and discontinued by the company and replaced by another design able to output 145W.
The product I initially received ended up defective and was replaced by the latter. Now, that second product is also defective and I've contacted the manufacturer to request another replacement because I think it should have inherited the lifetime warranty that came with the 200W.
The manufacturer answered that both the initial and replacement models have been discontinued and that they can't honor the warranty. They offer 35% off on their newest model of charger.
I have to specify, the product and warranty claim were purchased as an Indiegogo crowdfunding project prior to production. The company is established in Australia and has no office in Canada even though its products are distributed here directly from its website and on other platforms like Amazon.
I think the LPC from Quebec OPC applies as the purchase was made online while I was in Quebec and the initial shipment as well as the replacement's were delivered to addresses in Quebec, but I'm afraid they will just suggest that I try to fuck off with my request.
Am I crazy to think this is a poor replacement for a lifetime warranty?
They obviously included this lifetime warranty as an incentive to get more people to back their project, and probably with too little consideration for what it implied for them financially. This is unfortunate, but I don't think this should be my problem..
One last detail is that I don't have the warranty contract document...
