Sovol has Zero Qulity Control

on one hand it’s a joke as it’s a Sovol Zero. And the issue is with Sovol Zero QC

But issue was real on my Zero

- the Z belt was installed in wrong orientation making teeth engagement non-existent.

I found this after taking a surface map. and then going the regular route of “hold one leadscrew and try to rotate the other to compensate”.

the screw was rotating almost with no effort.

i opened the cover and found this.

now belt is set in correct orientation and everything seems fine with this crazy little machine.

i wanted to get a zero with chamber heater and got a great deal on aliexpress. but I wanted a chamber heater and asked if theey have it. the answer I got was following:

“Dear friend,
Unfortunately, zero’s cavity heating module and extruder are out of stock, and will no longer be produced in the future. I’m really sorry.“

So I wonder if zero is a good deal now if they plan to abandon it little by little
