Potty training chaos
I have had a baby boy dachshund since November, and he’s around 8.5 months old now. He’s just the happiest lil man and has done so well with general training. However, he has not gotten potty training down. It feels like utter failures every time he has an accident because it’s never like hours have gone by since his last outside time. His accidents are all happening within 1 hour of going potty outside.
He did go approx 2 months without an accident then the last 3 days has had 3 accidents. I feel super confused as to why this is happening, we have such a good daily structure. I guess I’m just looking for any other dachshund pup owners is this normal? Any advice how to improve this training? Right now he goes out about every 2-3 hours usually unless it’s super warm then he goes out more frequently. And he is peeing only inside, right in front of me always (not like he’s hiding it).
