I'm curious how these outbreaks get reported, or if there's anything holding cruise lines accountable for reporting outbreaks that occur?

I was expecting to see something about the recent NCL Escape cruise that disembarked yesterday, because I just got off that ship and am pretty sure I have Norovirus.

The hygiene was horrific on board, no enforcement at all at the buffet (like staff would just watch hoards of people walk in without washing and say nothing at all). Soap dispensers were often empty and left that way for awhile. There seemed to be sick kids everywhere we went.
