I’ve tried everything but she’s still thin

I’m always getting comments how she’s too skinny I’ve taken her to vet three times. She is 3 years old. She doesn’t eat table food. Ive tried pumpkin , several different kibble, three different wet foods , and chicken broth topper. She will eat around her science diet kibble and she takes about 1 1/2 days to finish her bowl. She’s happy other than that. Poops and pees normally… she just can’t gain weight.

🐕 Insurance Qs + Spay Pricing 💸

👋🏼 hello from little chloe (13 weeks now)

I’m trying to plan ahead and during our last vaccine appointment asked how much it would be to spay. I’m in SF and I get it, everything is expensive and they quoted me $850 + likely $200 in prep bloodwork. Am I crazy or is that the going rate nowadays? I called a second opinion for an estimate and the reception said they start at $1k too. My last pup was spayed 16 years ago and I have no idea how much we paid.

Second Q for insurance. After a bunch of research, I went with Pet’s Best but after going through 2 rounds of vaccines and a tapeworm issue, it really didn’t do much of anything. Barely any of it was covered after spending roughly $700. I understand the different limits but has anyone had good experiences with them long term? I’m paying $70/mo. I used to have Nationwide for my previous pup and opted for Pet’s Best this time around because coverage seemed better. But maybe it isn’t 😅

Sorry, kind of vent but also am I crazy lol.
Any advice would be much appreciated.

Mats...the bane of my existence.

Can anyone offer advice on how to deal with severe matting? My little guy hurt and had to wear a cone and we admittedly let the mats get out of control. They are all over his body, ears, and even some on his face 😭

We got one of these poodlie brushes that seems to help but we just got it yesterday. Are there any pro tips anyone can offer? I know we need to be more diligent in the future.

Excuse me… 👀 I’ve been informed that you have snacks. I’m going to need you to explain why none of them are currently in my mouth. 🤨🐾 Respectfully, Sir Milton 🎩🐩

Muffin takes the wheel

She squeezed her way through to the back of the wheel. She was pretty comfortable back there.
