New mugs!

Finally got to fire my new kiln for the first time and I’m so happy with how everything came out! These are a few of my favorites. Fired to cone 6 on Bmix.

All mugs are glazed with 2x honey flux then 2x of the following glaze (in picture order) Papaya (Spectrum), Morning Glory (Spectrum), Seaweed (Amaco), Autumn Purple (Spectrum), Iron Luster (Amaco), Stoned Denim (Mayco).

Finally bought myself a new kiln!

Sorry for the less than stellar picture, but I’m so excited for my Vulcan Kiln. They are a smaller kiln maker out of Dayton, OH. His pricing is so fantastic for his products, not to mention the 3 week turn around time. Jeff (the owner) makes kilns for commercial and industrial purposes (dental kilns and airplane parts to name a couple), and really knew his stuff. Already ran my first test fire!!
