I wanted to read Void Rivals but couldn’t figure out what to buy, so I built this
I wanted to start reading Void Rivals, then discovered that it connects to Transformers and the rest of the Energon Universe.
I couldn’t easily figure out which collected books I needed, which individual issues filled the gaps, or what order to read everything in. So I built Start Here Comics.
Choose a comic and it gives you the shopping list, reading order, estimated cover price, and what comes next:
The business idea is that you could eventually have the complete catch-up package mailed to you instead of finding everything yourself.
I’m trying to determine if this is a real business or just a problem I personally had. Also, any feedback on if the value is obvious and where the site feels confusing or untrustworthy.

[Marketing] Have you ever wanted to read a comic but couldn’t figure out where to start? (Anyone 18+)
I’ve been trying to get into a few comics and was surprised by how difficult it is to figure out which books and issues you actually need (and in what order). So, I made a website where you choose the comic you’re interested in and it gives you a shopping list, reading order, estimated price, and what issue comes next.
It takes a couple minutes and you don’t need an email or payment info.
There’s a question at the end asking whether you’d want the whole catch-up package mailed to you. Please answer honestly; I’m trying to find out whether this is actually useful.
