Weight Help!

I have a 3 month old hermanns. During his vet appointment on the 16th he weighed 18g. His vet said he felt a little dense/underweight. I weighed him again on the 23rd and he was 19g. However, his weight today is back to 18g… is this slow weight growth normal??? He is very active throughout the day and he eats almost all his greens every day. Am I just overreacting?

Puffy Eyes?

Any idea what might be causing my baby to get puffy eyes? The puffiness comes and goes but is usually the worst when he first wakes up. He’s able to open his eyes all the way but when his eyes are closed is when I see the puffiness. He has been to the vet and was given some eyedrops but they have not completely solved the issue. He has proper UVB lighting, heat, and humidity. I give him daily baths and he is drinking and eating very well throughout the day. His substrate is a mix of 70% coco fiber soil and 40% coco chips. He is active and showing no odd behaviors but I can’t figure out what is causing the puffiness! Any ideas?? He is 3 months old.

Tortoise Food Help!

I live downtown Kansas City and finding safe weeds for my tortoise is a challenge… I would like to order greens online or a grow kit of safe weeds to grow at home. Something like in the picture would be great but everything I find is in the UK and won’t ship to the states. Any suggestions of stores around KC or online stores I can purchase from????

Hermanns Tortoise Humidity help!

I have a 2 month old hermanns tortoise and I am getting mixed comments on his humidity. I keep him indoors in the enclosure in the picture I posted. Every US source I look into says he needs 70-80% humidity because he is a hatchling. Alone, I have been getting a steady 40-55% humidity in his home. Someone recommend that I get a fogger so I did. Now his humidity is 70-80%. But now people are telling me that I can’t use a fogger as it will harm him. Someone please give me some helpful advice! Note: the fogger is the black tube in my picture. It is pointing towards the top of his enclosure rather than on him or the substrate. His basking temp rests around 90 degrees and the rest of the enclosure stays around 75 degrees.
