INJURED TORTOISE PLEASE HELP TMI

Is there any specialist vets open in Bristol or any private vets that can help, she's being looked after by a vet shop in filton getting cleaned with antibiotics ect but not immediate medical attention

She was attacked by a dog and some of her shell and bottom has been injured and she's bleeding although it's medium severity it's hard to tell and the pet shop won't be able to do anything

There are no available exotic vets until Monday but I just need to know if there's one person out there that can help I'm so worried and scared she's not gonna be able to make it by then

Question

For a hermanns tortoise, can i keep the first lamp and replace the bulb with the 3rd one in the second photo? Or do i have to buy a new one?

Worried about shell rot

Hi I inherited a juvenile red foot tortoise a couple months ago. He was being kept indoor, no lamp, no supplements, no soaking, just fruits and veggies to eat.

I've had him outdoor in Florida in an enclosed cage with sun, basking stone, pool on cypress mulch. Getting calcium powder. Shell seemed really soft when I got him but seems better on top now. There's a lot of rain here but mulch dries out in the sun after so the top layer is never soaking wet.

His underside has looked off to me since I got him but I don't really know what I'm looking at. The darker patches in the lower middle are relatively soft. No smell though.

Does this look like shell rot? Also, bonus question, any clue how old he might be?

Healthy tortoise?

Just looking for some clarification on whether my Horsfield tortoise is looking healthy? I’ve had him since April.
Simon is 8 months old, and 155g.
Lives on the south coast of England, top soil and coco coir mixed substrate, leafy green and dandelion diet, daily soaks and given a lot of love.
Any recommendations/ anything I can do better?

Warm enough?

My wife’s friend is going on vacation for a few days and left her tortoises with us. This is how she set it up when I was at work. I’m concerned the light isn’t producing sufficient heat for them because it feels like the majority of the heat is directed out the front of the bulb but it’s pointed above the enclosure and to feel any heat from the side I have to have my finger an inch away at least.

Heatwave

I have a Greek tortoise in an outside enclosure and it’s gonna be 32°C (89.6°F) in a couple days. Her enclosure already reached thirty degrees in the shaded areas on days with 28°C but I usually put wet towels over it and that cools it down. I don’t think that’s possible though when it’s that hot and barely windy. Bringing her inside doesn’t make any sense since it’s just as hot. What else can I do?? I’m scared of her overheating.

Tortoise substrate

I have taken in my family members tortoises as they can no longer care for them. They are hermanns and i’ve used coconut fibre as their substrate. i’ve noticed they’ve started making whistling noises when they breath. could this be because of the substrate? google says coconut fibre is good and to just wet it every couple days to make it less dusty. i don’t want them to develop respiration issues and spend hundreds on vet bills! i’ve wet it and mixed it up but let me know if there are better options
