Did I miss something? I don’t think we found out whose blood the pearl girls were mopping up in the opening of the episode did we?? I had assumed it would be Dr Grove but obviously not. Theories?

My parents seem to barely drink water. They seem irritated by how much water me (42yo daughter) and my family drink, as though they find it excessive. Even my kids have noticed. They always turn down water at meal times. I also had a boss for six years and I never saw her drink water once. She was always drinking coffee, never water. Obviously I’m generalising, but it’s something I’ve definitely noticed and have wondered about.
What the hell is going on here! Can anyone explain this generational attitude to water consumption?
I’m curious about the names of the plums. On one hand, we have deeply uncommon names like Shunammite, Jehosheba and Hulda, alongside more common yet “conservative” names like Agnes and Miriam, then the super casual and modern “Becka”?! What is the meaning behind the naming of these characters?
I found this book and would love to know how old it is. There is no date anywhere on the book, nor does it say first edition. However it looks identical to other first editions of this title. Any ideas?! Thank you in advance
