Prescribed both ciprofloxacin and Baytril ear drops - common?
Hi! My dog has an ear infection and vaginitis. (She has food allergies which are mostly controlled but occasionally has flare-ups). Her new vet prescribed Baytril eardrops twice a day and ciprofloxacin once every 24 hours (500 mg, she's 38 pounds). Is this a common combination? Google says it's not common and that it's a really high dosage, but I of course know not to trust Google. However, this is a new vet for me, so I'd like a sanity check before proceeding. Thanks!
