Dai Jitao liberates Asia and more!

Another long game, although suprisingly it wasn't very painful. 11000 tactical bombers and infantry beat the AI tanks and mechanised because they can't handle the supply, a mistake I made many times in the late game. Turns out the best division is the one you can feed. I did use state transfer tool to adjust some borders and add the Arabian Federation to my faction, which I feel was justfied since when I unified China they were fighting for their life against every other Arab state and I saved them with volunteers. Also, letting every single KMT faction into the government after unification is both incredibly funny and gives a lot of busted generals and advisiors, especially with the Yunnanese military tree which gives direct XP and trait boosts to commadners. The Chinese Century will be a long one.

A proper Cold War for once (Andesia)

Marshal Justo successfully fulfilled the dream of Andesia as the European powers fought over Germany's corpse. They agreed to the Tilsit agreement, which made the USA disillusioned with the Entente which lost its chance and left to create its own faction. Andesia then led the way into battle to finish off the Entente's remains as Russia stood angry but powerless. Then, having surrounded the Organisation of American States the workers of the world went to battle one more time to topple the capitalist hydra. Russian republicans watched astonished as the socialist forces took over the American oil fields and ran circles around their fully mechanised army, now useless. Even if they wanted, Russia couldn't intervene as it was locked in an eternal war against the remains of the Japanese Empire, that is Japan and the Philippines. India chose to stay in its own backyard and not support the struggle. The world stays divided from Trieste to Antwerp, with both sides having gained powerful allies with economies devastated by war. The year is 1962, and it looks like this generation might know peace at last.

How to progress when between two empires?

My three-settlement 'empire' (Dondorians, capital 1.5k people) is sandwiched between an Amevian empire with a 20k capital and a Garthinian one with 8k. They both have armies over 1500 strong, while I have 200 trained and equipped swordsmen. How do I expand from here? There's no way I can with a war against one of them with my population and having only two trade partners doesn't let me make millions to hire an army (unless I'm trading wrong).

Faction map, mine is white

Think about it: Russia has the Free Russian and Far Eastern Armies, Germany can support the resistance and they don't even get fully occupied after defeat. France and Britain need whole occupation government mechanic that deals with the resistance slowly while extracting reparations for Germany. Hell, even the Entente exiles have to deal with what remains of the 3I governments after they go back home.

But Germany? A quick peace deal and they are ready to go in a year, fully supportive of their new socialist/military government allied with the nation that humiliated them, even with the Kaiser still kicking in exile, even with the new government completely contrary to the old one's values (for example DU Germany being turned into a totalitarian dictatorship or SWR being forcefully introduced to one of the flavours of leftism). The goodwill of the recently deposed master of the world is too easily gained.
