Aakash Chopra thinks India could still lose the Galle Test despite their 178-run lead. Do you agree?

India ended Day 3 with a healthy 178-run advantage, but Aakash Chopra believes the declaration could become a tricky decision.

His argument is that India shouldn't bat for too long trying to make the game completely safe. If they use up another full session building a 350+ lead, Sri Lanka could potentially survive the remaining time, or even have a realistic chase if India fail to take wickets quickly.

Essentially, India may have to take a calculated risk: declare early enough to give the bowlers sufficient time, even if that means leaving Sri Lanka a gettable target.

What would you do? Set Sri Lanka around 350, or bat them completely out of the game first?

KKR want into The Hundred, but apparently only with a brand-new team

https://preview.redd.it/7cr7j01ja2kh1.png?width=819&format=png&auto=webp&s=ea5aeea26b4d6ee211422f4278ba00134db14ab8

The Knight Riders Group is reportedly ready to invest in The Hundred, but rather than buying into one of the existing franchises, they want the ECB to create a new team.

And honestly, expansion is starting to make a lot of sense.

The Hundred already has IPL ownership everywhere:

  • Manchester Super Giants → Lucknow Super Giants owners
  • MI London → Mumbai Indians owners
  • Sunrisers Leeds → Sunrisers Hyderabad owners
  • Southern Brave → Delhi Capitals co-owners

KKR joining would add another major global franchise network, alongside Trinbago Knight Riders and their other investments.

For the ECB, more teams also means more matches and potentially more broadcast inventory ahead of the next rights cycle.

Would you expand The Hundred to bring KKR in? And if so, which city should get the new team?

Ravindra Jadeja enters 350-wicket club in Test cricket, scripts two major records

https://preview.redd.it/kgkc05sw6xjh1.png?width=787&format=png&auto=webp&s=d5a57c2d697cbc8ce4b1445a0e9310c4561400ec

Ravindra Jadeja just keeps delivering in Test cricket.

On Day 3 of the 1st Test against Sri Lanka in Galle, Jadeja picked up two wickets to reach 350 Test wickets.

He dismissed Sri Lanka captain Dhananjaya de Silva in the morning session before removing Keshara Nuwantha later in the day to complete the milestone.

Already the No. 1 ranked Test all-rounder, Jadeja continues to show why he remains such a valuable part of India’s red-ball setup.

350 wickets for Jadeja, how highly do you rank him among India’s greatest Test all-rounders?

Kris Srikkanth says India is treating Mohammed Shami like "a nobody" fair criticism or time to move on?

Kris Srikkanth has criticised the selectors for completely overlooking Mohammed Shami since the 2025 Champions Trophy.

His main argument is that India is missing a bowler with Shami's experience, seam position, and ability to deliver in big tournaments. At the same time, he also said younger fast bowlers like Prince Yadav, Gurnoor Brar, and Mohsin Khan deserve opportunities ahead of the 2027 World Cup.

Personally, I think this is an interesting debate. Shami has been one of India's best ODI bowlers for years, but at some point every team has to transition to the next generation. The question is whether that transition happened too early in his case, especially given India's lack of experienced pace options.

What do you guys think? Should Shami still be in India's ODI plans, or is it the right time to back the younger pacers?

Does India keep changing players roles too much?

Feels like we're constantly changing what players are supposed to do.

First it was Samson, then Sooryavanshi, and now there's another discussion around KL Rahul's batting position. I get that teams need to adapt but if someone's role keeps changing every few games, it's tough to expect consistent performances.

Maybe the players just need a bit more consistency in their roles before more changes are made.

Am I the only one who thinks the management is overcomplicating things, or do these experiments actually make sense?

Does Beth Mooney deserve way more hype than she gets?

Beth Mooney has now gone past Virat Kohli for the most runs in T20 World Cup finals. That's a pretty crazy stat, but I still feel she doesn't get talked about as much as other big-match players. Do you think she's one of the most underrated cricketers around?

AB de Villiers says he was surprised by Vaibhav Suryavanshi's omission. Do you agree?

AB de Villiers recently said he was surprised that Vaibhav Suryavanshi wasn't included in India's squad for the Ireland series.

Do you agree with AB de Villiers, or do you think the selectors made the right decision?
