Kuhlect appears to be replacing Bound on the BEPS roster after Bound decided to step away from competing until the next Halo multiplayer. 

• Kuhlect says his new team is “me, Eco, Stellur, and Penguin. That’s the plan. That’s the plan for LVT [Halo Pro League] and Halo Fest.”
• He talks to Bound almost every day and thinks Bound just wants to take a break and that he’ll return for the next Halo multiplayer.
• Doesn't necessarily mean anything, but Kuhlect put on the SSG emblem, kill effect, and armor coating (same 2024 SSG coating Stellur & Eco use). All four of these players have been on SSG during Infinite. The SSG CEO previously commented here on Reddit that they "will 100% be at Halo Fest." So this roster might potentially end up becoming SSG rather than "KEPS" or whatever.

Bound appears to be done competing in Halo Infinite and is instead going to be streaming on Twitch full time similar to Lucid. Here's what Bound said today:

• “I’m not competing the rest of Halo Infinite. That goes for the Pro League, that goes for Halo Fest. I don’t care to compete no more in this game. I think it’s best I just sit out until it’s worth my time.”
• He continues “There’s nothing to play. Those events [were] horrible. Dreamhack Atlanta, Dreamhack Birmingham, these events are dog shit. It literally feels like we’re playing in a bathroom. These [events] are not worth my time. It is so beneath me. I don’t mean to sound snobby and all that, but that shit is not worth my time, respectfully.“ 
• Says teaming with Cearion earlier in the year was “kinda just like whatever, I don’t even know, it was kinda just trolly. It wasn’t like real.” He doesn’t think they wasted Cearion’s time though, and said “anything we give Cearion would be a learning experience.” He thinks Cearion has potential and “could be pro one day.”
• Says he never liked Infinite despite winning a lot of events. “I’m gonna be honest, I have never liked Halo Infinite a day I’ve played this game. It sounds crazy, but this game has been out five years, I’ve hated the game all five years. I can vividly remember playing the beta and going wow, this game sucks" He says "I'm tired of this bullshit ass game" and we need a new Halo.
• He’s going to pursue streaming full time. It was always something he’s wanted to do, never thought he had the chance before because of competing, and he didn’t think Halo would take a break again. 
• Trolls both Yakzn and Trippy at the end.

Honorable mention to the twins Xuzey & Euzey who were originally the eighth seed (see their tweets here and here). With Renegade & Legend winning the third qualifier, it bumped everyone else down one seed, and the twins lost their spot.

Renegade and Legend started the tourney going up 19-3 over Majin and then topped that performance by winning 25-3 against LastShot and Cykul in the FaZe 2v2 Qualifier Grand Finals. Renegade went a perfect 14-0, just one kill short of the perfection medal. Here is Renegade's POV of the match with his pop-off celebration at the end.

Renegade and Legend have defeated LastShot and Cykul in the FaZe 2v2 Qualifier #3 and have secured their way to the LAN on June 6th. This is Shopify's first tournament loss in quite some time.

Renegade and Legend returned to Halo for the first time since Worlds to play in the third and final FaZe 2v2 Qualifier tournament. They made it to Grand Finals easily while only dropping a single map to RyaNoob. LastShot and Cykul were able to reset the bracket by winning the first series, but Renegade and Legend won the second series to win the entire tournament.

Map 3 of the Grand Finals Reset was the craziest map of the entire tournament - Renegade and Legend went 25-3 against LastShot and Cykul. Renegade went 14-0 (one kill away from a perfection medal) while Cykul was 2-12 and LastShot was 1-13.

This kind of makes you realize the talent we're missing out on this year.

Legend and Renegade duo are playing Halo for the first time in months and they got off to a strong start against Majin going 19-3. They've made it to the winners semifinals.

This tournament has already had some crazy upsets with LastShot/Cykul, Bound/Stellur, Trippy/Taulek and more all in the losers bracket (bracket link). Watch on LVT Halo Twitch (drops) and YouTube. Renegade is also streaming his POV too.

Shopify made quick work of AB x LG (RyaNoob, Tapping Buttons, Little Gatorz, Common) in the Grand Finals, sweeping them 3-0 to win the DSA Halo Open Series #2 tournament.

Tomorrow LVT Halo will be broadcasting the FaZe 2v2 Qualifier #3 which features the return of Renegade and Legend, should be a fun one.

RyaNoob's pickup team consisting of Ascending Baseline x Legion Gaming players (RyaNoob, Tapping Buttons, Common, Little Gatorz) have defeated Team EnVyUs (Piggy, Yakzn, Descendant, Acid) 3-2 in the elimination finals. AB x LG now play Shopify Rebellion in Grand Finals next.

Legend and Renegade are returning to Halo for the first time since Worlds last year, they're playing together in the FaZe 2v2 "Doubles in Dallas" Qualifier #3 on Sunday under the team name GBX. Link

LastShot predicts between 2028 to 2030 for the new Halo multiplayer, but "copium" release date is 2027. Cykul says the "optimistic" answer is 2028, but maybe end of 2027 if "the stars align. But don't get your hopes up."

LastShot says "it might be time" to switch to CoD and Cykul says they'll be back when the new Halo drops.

Congrats to Shopify for winning the Dreamhack Atlanta LAN by defeating Luminon Gaming in a 4-0 sweep in Grand Finals. For placing first, Shopify earn $35,000 to split amongst their team. LastShot was the standout player for Shopify. He had the most kills, most damage by a significant amount, best K/D, highest accuracy.

Luminon Gaming place second in their first ever LAN together with Snakebite, which is a great improvement over their disappointing Birmingham results where they went out Top 6 (with Descendant). Luminon get $17,000 as a team for placing second.

Shoutout to LVT Halo for providing a great weekend of Halo! Next weekend has two online tournaments - the DSA Halo Open #2 on Saturday May 23rd and the FaZe 2v2 Qualifier #3 on Sunday May 24th.

Luminon Gaming defeated BEPS 3-1 in the elimination finals. BEPS go home at top 3 and earn $10,000 for their team, while Luminon Gaming secure second and move on to the Grand Finals in a rematch against Shopify.

Last series of the tournament coming up next. Shopify has winners advantage meaning Luminon needs to win two series, SR only needs one.

In the elimination semifinals, BEPS defeated Kraken Seas 3-2 in a reverse sweep. Despite not practicing and not even having a team pass until last second, BEPS has managed to secure top 3 on LAN.

Kraken Seas are eliminated at top 4. BEPS now play Luminon Gaming in the Elimination Finals in what's sure to be a fun matchup. The winner of that series will go on to play Shopify Rebellion in the Grand Finals.

In the Winner Finals, Shopify Rebellion defeated Luminon Gaming 3-1. These are the two best teams this year and it's been a couple weeks since they last played each other. In previous tournaments LG has been taking the winner finals, but this time Shopify was locked in and have secured their spot in the grand finals.

Luminon Gaming falls to lower bracket in an elimination final matchup against the winner of Kraken Seas vs BEPS. If Luminon makes it back to grand finals, they will have to beat Shopify in two series (once to reset the bracket, the second to win). Going to be a tough task with the champs looking strong today.

RyaNoob gets the final kill on Royal 2 to win Vacancy Slayer 50-40 and then teabags. Ryan was the first to take a map off Shopify this tournament so far.

In the last match of Day 2, Shopify Rebellion defeat Ascending Baseline 3-1 in winners semifinals. Shopify moves forward to Winners Finals on Champ Sunday against Luminon Gaming.

Ascending Baseline falls to lower bracket where they play BEPS (Bound, Eco, Penguin, Stellur) tomorrow in an elimination quarterfinals match.

Luminon Gaming defeat Team Lethal Fox 3-1 in Winners Semifinals. Luminon Gaming moves forward to Winners Finals for champ Sunday while TLF drops to lower bracket and faces Kraken Seas.

There's one final matchup for Day 2 coming up next, Shopify Rebellion vs Ascending Baseline (RyaNoob's team). The winner of that matchup plays Luminon Gaming in Winners Finals tomorrow on Champ Sunday, and the loser plays BEPS (Bound's team) in an Elimination Quarterfinals matchup tomorrow.

After a very strong start from BEPS (Bound's team) where they went up 2-0, Team Lethal Fox (Piggy's team) managed to come back and reverse sweep them, winning the series 3-2. TLF move on to Winners Semifinals against Luminon Gaming while BEPS falls to lower bracket against SWAT Latam.

Pool play has now finished and champ bracket is starting with the top 8 teams. Both Shopify and Luminon Gaming went 4-0 in pool play series. Shopify hasn't dropped a single map yet, Luminon has dropped three maps but they also had a much tougher pool (BEPS, Majin, Kraken Seas).
