Kuhlect expected to replace Bound on BEPS roster for LVT Halo Pro League & Halo Fest

Kuhlect appears to be replacing Bound on the BEPS roster after Bound decided to step away from competing until the next Halo multiplayer.

  • Kuhlect says his new team is “me, Eco, Stellur, and Penguin. That’s the plan. That’s the plan for LVT [Halo Pro League] and Halo Fest.”
  • He talks to Bound almost every day and thinks Bound just wants to take a break and that he’ll return for the next Halo multiplayer.
  • Doesn't necessarily mean anything, but Kuhlect put on the SSG emblem, kill effect, and armor coating (same 2024 SSG coating Stellur & Eco use). All four of these players have been on SSG during Infinite. The SSG CEO previously commented here on Reddit that they "will 100% be at Halo Fest." So this roster might potentially end up becoming SSG rather than "KEPS" or whatever.

Bound says he’s no longer competing in Halo Infinite: “not worth my time”

Bound appears to be done competing in Halo Infinite and is instead going to be streaming on Twitch full time similar to Lucid. Here's what Bound said today:

  • “I’m not competing the rest of Halo Infinite. That goes for the Pro League, that goes for Halo Fest. I don’t care to compete no more in this game. I think it’s best I just sit out until it’s worth my time.”
  • He continues “There’s nothing to play. Those events [were] horrible. Dreamhack Atlanta, Dreamhack Birmingham, these events are dog shit. It literally feels like we’re playing in a bathroom. These [events] are not worth my time. It is so beneath me. I don’t mean to sound snobby and all that, but that shit is not worth my time, respectfully.“
  • Says teaming with Cearion earlier in the year was “kinda just like whatever, I don’t even know, it was kinda just trolly. It wasn’t like real.” He doesn’t think they wasted Cearion’s time though, and said “anything we give Cearion would be a learning experience.” He thinks Cearion has potential and “could be pro one day.”
  • Says he never liked Infinite despite winning a lot of events. “I’m gonna be honest, I have never liked Halo Infinite a day I’ve played this game. It sounds crazy, but this game has been out five years, I’ve hated the game all five years. I can vividly remember playing the beta and going wow, this game sucks" He says "I'm tired of this bullshit ass game" and we need a new Halo.
  • He’s going to pursue streaming full time. It was always something he’s wanted to do, never thought he had the chance before because of competing, and he didn’t think Halo would take a break again.
  • Trolls both Yakzn and Trippy at the end.

Summit League Season 3 is LIVE! End of Season Tournament, Referral Rewards, Clip of the Season & More

Hey everyone!
Summit League Season 3 is officially live.

If you played last season, your team has already been rolled over, so there's nothing you need to do besides hop back in and start scheduling matches. Season 3 runs now through August 31st, with our End of Season Tournament taking place on September 6th.

One thing we've been trying to do with Summit League is make the season feel like more than just a ladder. We want there to be things happening throughout the season that make it worth sticking around, so we've put together a few things we're excited about.

End of Season Tournament
This season we're putting up a $200 base prize pool for the End of Season Tournament. The top 6-8 teams (depending on participation) will qualify based on the regular season standings. To be eligible, teams just need to complete at least six Summit League matches during the season.

We're hoping this becomes something players can work toward every season and continue to grow over time.

Clip of the Season
Everybody has that one clip they wish someone else had seen.

This season we're giving away $25 for the best play from an official Summit League Season 3 match. If you hit something crazy, post it in the Discord with your match lobby link and we'll announce the winner after the tournament.

Referral Program
If you've got friends who have talked about joining but haven't yet, we're also trying something new.

If you bring in a brand new team and they end up qualifying for the End of Season Tournament, you'll earn $10 for that referral. There's no limit, so if you convince a few teams to join and they all qualify, you'll get paid for each one.

Just make sure you let us know before that team's first Summit League match so we can keep track of the referral.

We'll also be continuing community broadcasts, spotlighting teams and players, casting community matches, and making improvements throughout the season based on feedback.

We've still got a long way to go, but every season the goal is to make Summit League a little better than the last one.

If you've been looking for a place to play organized Halo without waiting around for tournaments every few months, we'd love to have you join us.

Infinite LAN

I’m hosting a Halo Infinite LAN in the South Houston area next week. I’m curious if anyone has much experience and could give some helpful tips to make it go smoothly. I have tested it out, but have run into some bugs like team changing not working and so on.

P.S. potentially have one more spot open if anyone is interested.

Fixing Aim and Controller Calibration

So I was trying to recalibrate my sticks with the Xbox accessories app and it messed them up bad to the point where it felt like I was playing on like 20 sens. So after searching for a solution before giving up and going to buy a new controller, I figured out the fix and my controller feels better than it did out of the box. Tested it out in big team and went 45 and 11 with a running riot. Went into the xbox app settings, terminated the app, reset the app, unplugged controller after app was reset and plugged back in. Restarted PC for the hell of it. Controller and aim feels more stable than it ever has. If anyone else wants to try this out, let me know how it feels. I know a lot of people have trouble with settings and aim feeling off, this feels pretty good so far. This post is mainly for people who just want to reset the xbox accessories app and calibration for their sticks.

Tylenul 5 - Gameplay Video Montage

This could be the technical ceiling of direct Halo 3 gameplay…. Especially if hardcore doesn’t come back. I edited it for fun, anyone out there enjoy.

The clip at 1:02 is my favorite

Optic's Silver Curse Documentary

What ups guys! This is Eli the NiNjA, LVT Caster and former pro player. I spent the last month working on Part 1 of this documentary for the Global Gaming Network (GGN) YouTube channel. The video basically follows Optic's experience in competitive Halo Infinite from the end of 2022 to 2025. Part 2 will follow their CoD team who has also been placing 2nd in events lately.

I mostly focused on creating a cinematic experience with epic music to tell a good story. I know some details are left out, but some creative liberties needed to be taken in order for the video to have good intrigue and flow to it. I hope you enjoy!

OG Optic falling off killed the scene

Something about Form, apg, Tommy and Trippy dominating the scene gave this game so much life.

I swear like 90% of the player base were Optic fans. Even my friends and I who stopped playing Infinite after a few seasons, always tuned in to watch Optic dominate the majors.

Then they fell apart against Faze, made the absolute worst decision in dropping apg for Penguin, and they were never the same again.

The fandom tanked, the view counts tanked and I’m not sure why. It’s like those 4 were the only likable people in the scene
