BEPS

Anyone else really enjoy watching them this tournament? I felt like there were a lot of good signs. All 4 had moments where they were dominating. Eco was really controlling the pace and spawns at times.

Just a couple of crucial lost Pivs let them down. I haven't been a massive fan of their attitude from a very external position (no idea, just perception) but wouldn't it be a story to have this team come back and win the final event somehow.. I don't see it unless they really put in a tonne of work. But if they all decided to..U never know...

LastShot and Cykul predict next Halo multiplayer release date

LastShot predicts between 2028 to 2030 for the new Halo multiplayer, but "copium" release date is 2027. Cykul says the "optimistic" answer is 2028, but maybe end of 2027 if "the stars align. But don't get your hopes up."

LastShot says "it might be time" to switch to CoD and Cykul says they'll be back when the new Halo drops.

If I remember right, the last time to achieve 5-in-a-row (7 if you count the LVT Pro League Finals 2025 and LVT San Antonio 2026) was that iconic Evil Geniuses team from Halo 2 Anniversary.

Shopify vs Luminon Gaming Series Results | Grand Finals | Dreamhack Atlanta $100k Halo LAN

Congrats to Shopify for winning the Dreamhack Atlanta LAN by defeating Luminon Gaming in a 4-0 sweep in Grand Finals. For placing first, Shopify earn $35,000 to split amongst their team. LastShot was the standout player for Shopify. He had the most kills, most damage by a significant amount, best K/D, highest accuracy.

Luminon Gaming place second in their first ever LAN together with Snakebite, which is a great improvement over their disappointing Birmingham results where they went out Top 6 (with Descendant). Luminon get $17,000 as a team for placing second.

Shoutout to LVT Halo for providing a great weekend of Halo! Next weekend has two online tournaments - the DSA Halo Open #2 on Saturday May 23rd and the FaZe 2v2 Qualifier #3 on Sunday May 24th.

Population of Ranked?

Haven’t played since season 5 but wait times weren’t too bad then. Is it still a decent population? If not when are the best time intervals? Any new maps added to the ranked playlist rotation?

I’ve been playing social for the past week and there’s a lot more content in terms of maps and sandbox, but for the few ranked matches I played, waiting times were long and the lobby highly unbalanced (I’m assuming due to population).

Luminon Gaming defeated BEPS 3-1 in the elimination finals. BEPS go home at top 3 and earn $10,000 for their team, while Luminon Gaming secure second and move on to the Grand Finals in a rematch against Shopify.

Last series of the tournament coming up next. Shopify has winners advantage meaning Luminon needs to win two series, SR only needs one.

Shopify vs Luminon Gaming Series Results | Winners Finals | Dreamhack Atlanta $100k Halo LAN

In the Winner Finals, Shopify Rebellion defeated Luminon Gaming 3-1. These are the two best teams this year and it's been a couple weeks since they last played each other. In previous tournaments LG has been taking the winner finals, but this time Shopify was locked in and have secured their spot in the grand finals.

Luminon Gaming falls to lower bracket in an elimination final matchup against the winner of Kraken Seas vs BEPS. If Luminon makes it back to grand finals, they will have to beat Shopify in two series (once to reset the bracket, the second to win). Going to be a tough task with the champs looking strong today.

In the elimination semifinals, BEPS defeated Kraken Seas 3-2 in a reverse sweep. Despite not practicing and not even having a team pass until last second, BEPS has managed to secure top 3 on LAN.

Kraken Seas are eliminated at top 4. BEPS now play Luminon Gaming in the Elimination Finals in what's sure to be a fun matchup. The winner of that series will go on to play Shopify Rebellion in the Grand Finals.

BEPS vs Team Lethal Fox Series Results | Winners Quarterfinals | Dreamhack Atlanta $100k Halo LAN

After a very strong start from BEPS (Bound's team) where they went up 2-0, Team Lethal Fox (Piggy's team) managed to come back and reverse sweep them, winning the series 3-2. TLF move on to Winners Semifinals against Luminon Gaming while BEPS falls to lower bracket against SWAT Latam.
