AMEX intro offer

Got an intro offer from AMEX for their Hilton honors card.

I’m currently in a debt pay off mode where I was on FMLA for personal issues but now that it has passed, I am back to work and actively and aggressively paying off debt. During that time I was without work, Amex actually reduced one of my lines by 3K while I was still paying on time without warning. I asked why and they said they do periodic reviews of their card holders credit and adjust but I said they don’t do that when the credit is good and I request an increase.

Just wanted to come on here and ask if this is a good offer. It’s a $100 statement credit and 100,000 points after spending 2K on the card in the first 6 months. I currently have their delta and their BC card and they have $0 balances.

Should I apply? Should I let it go? It’s not something I need per se but I am getting ready for a big purchase in a month or so and I’d like to take advantage as it is def over 2K but I also want to ensure I’m not getting duped. I’m thinking maybe a 0% interest card would be better but I figured I’d come here to ask people with more knowledge than I.

Thank you!

CCRN

Hello everyone,

I’m taking my test in about a week and a half or so. I’ve been doing AACN practice exams and going over some videos and rationales when I’m done. I’ve been consistently scoring between 103-105/150 and I’m nervous that’s not in the “passing” range on the real exam. My weak points are endocrine and some cardiac. I’ve been using my free time to study but also been cramming while working full time.

In those who have successfully passed and crammed, what scores were you getting if you took practice exams on AACN? Is getting 103-105/150 an indicator that I am on the right path to passing? My two lowest scores were on night shift at work with scores of 92 and 94 out of 150.

I’m also using some videos on YouTube recommended to me by fellow colleagues that have taken it and used these videos to help them on the test. One of them failed and used these videos as a resource and passed the second time a couple of months ago.

I do have the barrons book but honestly, I can’t sit there and read. I’m a hands on learner and videos, writing things down and applying the concepts in real life are the best ways I learn but I am open to other recommendations.

Thank you in advance!!!

2007 F150 5.4 3V rattle

07 F150 5.4 3V. About 222,000 on the engine. Oil change every 3-5K miles with motorcraft 5W30 and motorcraft oil filter. I’ve been wanting to do the timing chain since a year or two ago for preventive maintenance but my mechanic said I was fine and I didn’t need it. This rattle has gotten worse and more frequent the last 5-7K miles. Is this the timing chain finally telling me to fix it before it implodes? I’ve also noticed a steady decrease in MPG since then as well. Usually average 16-16.4 mpg and now I. At 15.0-15.2 mpg without changing any driving habits. I did change all 8 spark plugs about a month and a half ago as well.
