I am on a 5m Naish Matador for my daily driver atm and its time to upgrade. There are a lot of 10-12 knot days, so low end is important but also flagging out well for wave riding. Also im 165lb

I was looking at the newer Nova North, the Reedin Supernatural, and the Duotone Unit all at 5m or as close as i can get to it.
I really wanted the Reedin because its supposed to be really light in the hand but great at flagging, but its rated at 11-23, so I'm worried that I wont have the power I need to get going.

I'm trying to stick to a 5 just for ease of wing handling through jibes and tacks.

I have a used Fanatic board, and i dont know if foot straps were used with it before.
On one side of the front foot straps I've had the back screw rip out of the threads twice while riding, from 2 different screw holes. The inserts are just plastic, so the screws cut new threads when you screw them in, meaning that when they get ripped out, that hole is not really usable anymore.
Does anyone know a way to fix this, because those 2 screw positions were the best for my foot placement by far.
Ive thought of putting in a plastic drywall anchor or something.

The other option is getting the V foot strap where both sides are integrated into one strap, but I dont live in a place where its easy to source new parts.
