Woody & Jim leaving Totally Hits 93.3 FM after July 7

Woody & Jim will do their last show on 93.3 this Tuesday, July 7, then they will depart the station. They only started there on July 22, 2024, so, they'll leave just shy of two years there.

It's not really a surprise; in April, Woody was asking for leads to potential show sponsors on his personal Facebook page. Then, not too long after, he was asking for leads for a second full-time or part-time job, because his radio job wasn't enough to pay the bills anymore.

Woody & Jim have worked together since 1991, when they were paired together for the morning show on WFLY AKA Fly 92.3 in Albany, NY. They were then brought to Nashville and 107.5 The River in 1998.

I wouldn't be surprised if this was it for them, at least on radio. Sad way for it to end.

So, I know that the winners don't keep the trophy like the Stanley Cup, but Stanley Cup winners get smaller keepsake replicas to display at their home arenas. The picture I've attached is of John Klingberg looking at one of the Oilers' keepsake replica Cups.

Do Grey Cup winners get keepsake replicas, too?

WSL:

Brighton clinched safety with their shock win over City; London City clinched their own safety by whipping Leicester, but they also helped confirm safety for Everton and Villa, who clinched it on a week off. Meanwhile, West Ham's win over Liverpool means that Leicester will have to take part in the playoff if they lose to Arsenal on Wednesday.

WSL2:

What a nutty Sunday. Birmingham lose, Charlton draw, and Palace win, creating a one-point-separating-three-teams scenario at the top, with everything to play for this Saturday. Meanwhile, at the bottom of the table, Ipswich's shock defeat of Birmingham and Durham's win over Sheffield spelled trouble for Portsmouth, whose relegation was confirmed by their 1-0 loss to Forest.
