A bit taken aback by the price. 1 meat 2 veg cai png for $3.00 at 85C Lor 4 Toa Payoh Coffeeshop.
Eggplant, broccoli, sesame oil chicken - all solid portions - at a very affordable price. The angle here unfortunately doesn't do justice to the portion of the chicken; it was actually a decent size with not a lot of bone.
The coffeeshop itself is a small one with just a drinks store, bak chor mee, roast meats, and this cai png. I actually was hoping to try the BCM but it wasn't open unfortunately, so I went with this on a whim, and was shocked at the price. I think the last time I forked out $3 for a cai png was more than a decade ago.
The food itself is okay. It's not amazing, but I've definitely had far worse - and at this price I'm not complaining.
Stall itself doesn't have a name but the coffeeshop is "BGAIN 85 EATING HOUSE"
