Volt per octave multiple trouble :'(

Volt per octave multiple trouble :'(

Hello!

I recently bought a Modulaire Maritime Sindikat (Modulaire Maritime Sindikat - Eurorack Module on ModularGrid), and I was really excited to use the buffered mult as a way to send v/8 information to multiple oscillators. Unfortunately, the pitch drops about a half step going through the buffered mult.

My understanding is that this would happen with a passive mult, but not with a buffered mult. Am I not understanding this correctly? Or is my unit not working properly?

If a regular buffered mult is not able to accurately duplicate v/8 signals, do you have any recommendations of what can? Preferably small hp!

Thank you!

Converting midi channels?

Hello!

I would like to send midi information to an arpeggiator, and then take the output of the arpeggiator and send it on a different channel.

For example, send a chord to the arpeggiator on channel 3, and then convert its output from channel 3 to channel 4.

Unfortunately I can not do that on the arpeggiator itself, but I was wondering if there was perhaps a cable or small box that would be able to receive on one channel and send on another.

I know you guys will know, thank you!

Stackable cables for v/8 signals?

Hi everyone, first post here!

I have been experimenting with splitting volt per octave signals and sending them to different oscillators. I noticed that when I used a passive mult, there was a bit of a drop in the voltage strength, so I would have to retune my oscillators. Presumably I can use a buffered mult without issue, but what about if I used stackable cables? Would those also cause the same problem?

Hopefully my question is clear, thanks!
