I just had emergency surgery on my jaw that will leave it and my teeth wired shut for the next three weeks. I’ve had good progress with my Lexapro, but it’s impossible for me to take a pill as I’m on a strict liquid diet. I can’t even have seeds in my smoothies; they literally cannot pass through my teeth.

My provider hasn’t been been able to get back to me (online medicine) with a very clear answer, so I’m hoping to hear if anyone here had a similar situation and found a way to work around it. I have looked online as well, but the answers aren’t very conclusive.

First of all, I apologize if I’m in the wrong place or there’s already a thread answering my question. I personally didn’t see one

Regardless, I’ve been having a blast with DayZ. Only a few hours in, and only one death so far. I was shot in cold blood, shit was brutal. My second character has had better luck against people, but the elements and undead are so far proving to be more difficult.

I’ve learned this game doesn’t hold your hand, but instead, if it makes sense irl, most likely you can do it in game? For example, I found a bottle containing alcohol tincture. I haven’t looked up any guides, but by pure intuition, I sanitized some rags I had found earlier for I had a feeling everything in this game can kill you.

What I’m asking here, is that survival relies on logic and rationality? If someone kills me, oh well, but I’m learning that PVP is honestly the least of my problems. What should I be looking for/avoiding when looting?

Tldr: im looking for some simple tips that can help me at least survive the elements, just enough to start building a base somewhere

I’ve got a kind of funny, kind of serious question here: am I screwed?

I’m a late bloomer with the fromsoft titles, but I have experience with a handful of games from them now (ER, BB, DeS, soulslikes) so I have an idea what to expect here

Anyway, I get to the asylum demon, fuck him up with some black firebombs, and keep going (I saw some starting gameplay a while back, but nothing much further than firelink shrine)

Well guess what? I’ve been using the starting weapon, a broken fucking sword, for four hours. I’m well past firelink and into undead burg, and my only other weapons are the morning star, spear, and demons great hammer, all of which I don’t meet the stats for

Am I screwed? Or should I just keep pushing and try my luck? The Taurus demon is very difficult right now, even with the drop attack
