Oh my God, I genuinely thought I was the only person on this planet who doesn’t like dogs and by “doesn’t like,” I mean proudly cannot stand them.

Everywhere you look it’s “dogs are better than humans,” or “I get suspicious if my dog doesn’t like the person I’m dating.” Imagine being gifted the most sophisticated brain on the planet and still outsourcing your judgment of someone’s character to an animal that thinks a random sock is worth fighting over. Anyway, I had no idea this subreddit existed and I’m genuinely delighted to discover that I’m not alone.

Is anyone here from Kalna?

I recently came across photos of the beautiful 108 Shiva Temple in Kalna and was really captivated by it. We’re planning to host an annaprashan ceremony there, so I wanted to ask:
Is bhog/prasad served there every day, or only on specific days of the week or during special occasions?
If anyone has firsthand information, I’d really appreciate it. Thank you!

Is it normal for reputed Kanchipuram saree stores to sell pure silk sarees without Silk Mark certification?

I have been looking to buy a few Kanchipuram silk sarees in the ₹20k-25k range. Back in my state, whenever I bought a pure silk saree from a reputed store, it would usually come with a Silk Mark certificate or tag. Here, I’ve searched and contacted online stores like Nalli and Varamahalakshmi, and while they insist that the sarees are pure silk, many of the ones I liked don’t have Silk Mark certification. When I asked about it, they basically said that they only sell pure silk sarees and that customers trust their brand. I’m a bit confused because spending ₹20k–25k without any third-party certification feels risky. Is this normal in Bangalore/Chennai? Do reputed stores like Nalli and Varamahalakshmi often sell genuine pure silk sarees without Silk Mark tags, or should I specifically look for Silk Mark-certified pieces?

I’m curious if you ask people directly in Bihar and Odisha, has employment really improved after BJP came into power? Not speeches or claims just actual lived experience. Are more people getting jobs, or is it still the same struggle with limited opportunities and endless exam prep? Would be interesting to hear what people on the ground are actually seeing.
