Orange Flashing Light after First DSi Charging Port Repair

Recently I got a Hot Pink DSi that was in really clean condition that I was planning to give my sibling for their birthday, however when I got it I noticed the it didn't charge while it was on. So after trying different outlets and chargers, I came to the conclusion it was a bad charging port.

Now, I've never had to do a repair like this before, so I figured it would be easy enough, which it was honestly! I used my heatgun and on low blasted both sides until I could gently lift the old port off the board. I've been improving at soldering as well, so getting it on wasn't very difficult either. I was a bit concerned about if all 4 points were making contact with the board, but I feel as though since there now is a flashing orange light, they should be! Given I could be wrong, which is why I'm here!

As seen in the video when plugged in it flashes orange. After doing some light browsing, the general consensus for that problem is that it has something to do with the battery/charging. The battery is in great condition, so I don't think it's that. I also tried other batteries as well. I was wondering if it could be from all 4 port points not touching the pads properly? I'm not sure.

The other problem could be something relating to the F1 fuse, which requires a multimeter which at the moment I don't have to test. I'm not sure what to do relating to getting the fuse operational anyways since this is my first experience with it.
