Vet Park (25th st)
I love this park because it is walkable from my house, is quaint and quiet compared to the bigger parks, and is a great fishing spot. However, in the last 8 years of coming here, I can't understand why there is no public restroom. If the stadium is open you can go there, but that's not enough to say the park has a bathroom. There's a playground with water play, an exercise section, holsters for fishing poles which is an hours-long sport, and trash cans/benches indicating people should come here to be outdoors. Why then, not have a bathroom? I can only stay for an hour tops until I have to leave to find a bathroom, or, admittedly just pee in a bush. 🤣😅 They had a porto-potty once for a few months and now it's gone. Who's gonna fight the good fight with me?
