Press-on nails are really underrated

I just started doing my own press-on nails and I genuinely don't know why I waited so long. I used to think getting my nails done at a salon was the only way to have them looking consistently nice, but doing them at home has been such a game changer.

I love being able to choose a new color or design whenever I want without booking an appointment, driving somewhere, and spending hours at the salon. They're also so much more affordable, especially when you like switching up your nails regularly.

Another thing I didn't expect to enjoy so much is how convenient they are. Once you get your prep and application routine down, you can have a fresh set at home while watching a show or doing something else.

For anyone who uses press ons regularly, what are your favorite brands or styles? I'm always looking for new ones to try lol

Looking for recommendations for a reliable long-distance mover

I'm planning a move from British Columbia to Ontario later this year, and I'm starting to research moving companies now. There are so many sponsored results and ads when I search online that it's honestly making it harder to figure out which companies are actually reputable.

I'm definitely not looking to rent a U-Haul and do the whole thing myself, so I'm hoping to find a reliable full-service moving company that can handle the move from start to finish. I'm more concerned about reliability, communication, and how well they handle belongings than finding the absolute cheapest option.

I'll also need to transport a vehicle to Ontario, so if anyone has experience with vehicle transport companies for a move like this, I'd really appreciate those recommendations too. If you've done a similar BC-to-Ontario move recently, I'd especially love to hear who you used, what the experience was like, and whether you'd use them again.

Thank you, all!

Anyone here using an EOR for a small remote team?

I own a small digital marketing consultancy and most of our clients are based in different countries. As we grow, I'd like to bring on remote team members for things like content creation and client management.

I've been researching employer of record services because they seem like an easier way to manage payroll, employment contracts and compliance without opening legal entities everywhere. Before committing to one, I'd love to hear from people who have actually used an EOR.

Which provider has worked well for you and is there anything you wish you had known beforehand?
