Jkjk I say this in jest, I know you can never really beat it. BUT I AM PROUD OF MYSELF!!! I was diagnosed first time back in July 14th of this year and it was a massive wake up call.

A lot of hard work, cutting out essentially all sugars and carbs + 1000mg of metformin

July 14th A1c - 11.5
October 2nd A1c - 5.6

Even my doctor was impressed haha which felt really good because she has been a great support too!

But I still feel newly diagnosed, to those reading this. It’s okay, I have so many crash outs and being miserable and it seems SO HARD. But it’s possible to turn things around and live a better life! Let’s all strive for full use of limbs and keeping our eyesight!

Our cat got out last night when we were sleeping, he would be around the Evelyn M Schiffler Memorial Park and Welch Centennial Community Garden areas. If anyone has seen him please let me know. Been going out all day and evening, looking for him

He is a siamese cat, with three little white toes on the back of one foot. He is microchipped, we contacted our local vet and put out alerts on facebook as well but figured we’d post here too. Any extra eyes would be appreciated, he is the sweetest thing but also timid

Today early this morning around 5am he was found!!!! Thank you everyone for keeping your eyes peeled and your support. It’s been much appreciated! He is home, given a bath and food and lots of cuddles. The kitty has come homeeeee❤️
