We had a check up at the vet a couple of weeks ago and he's down from 4kg to 3.7kg. He's always had a problem with his weight, and we can't force him to eat more than he is already (4 sachets a day, and he has dry food whenever he wants - though I usually have to hand feed him because he got so used to it when he was disabled)

He's unbelievably fussy with food - we've tried lots of different brands, some more expensive (scrumbles, lily's kitchen, the sainsbury's stuff with no fillers), some not. He'll only eat small flakes in gravy, so we're on Sheba right now. Burgess dry food too.

I used to work for a pet store chain so I'm well aware he's eating junk, but the vet said the most important thing is that he eats.

He has a webbox meat stick when I get back from work at 10am, dental treats, dreamies, and a webbox lick-e-lix after he has his steroid for an autoimmune condition in the evening.

Any advice on fattening my boy up would be greatly appreciated.

Wild strawberries in a friends garden. We've had no rain in the south of the UK for what feels like ages and it's been unnecessarily hot so all plants are suffering 😂
