Anyone else under whelmed with the AC in the Trailseeker?

I’m pretty disappointed in the AC system of the Trailseeker. If I’m using auto I need to keep it at 65 to be comfortable, and that’s just in 75 degree Southern California. Which is way colder than any auto climate setting in other cars. 73 in our Sienna and 72 in the Tacoma we traded in for the Trailseeker. I made sure eco cooling was off. I can’t imagine this system will be able to keep up at all in peak summer or hot locations.

Edit:

Just so it’s apparent Eco mode is off

Window tint isn’t an acceptable solution

It does appear our trailseeker’s system is under performing relative to other’s in this thread.

Free Subaru car rentals with Trailseeker purchase (CA only?)

Just got a email from Subaru saying that I have 10 days of free rentals through the Just Drive program at participating California Subaru dealers. Coupon is good for 2 years, just thought that was kind of neat.

Bz woodland accessories compatible with Trailseeker?

I was noticing that the woodland has illuminated sills (door and cargo) and some cargo lights as optional accessories. I’d assume those are compatible, but anyone know for sure/tried?

12v Data Point

Just want to add a data point about the 12v issues. I got my touring on June 20th. Drove it around that weekend and to work and back on June 22nd (about 40mi round trip). Parked it about 5pm on June 22nd. Left for a business trip the next day and when I started it this morning June 27th, no issues. All of the services are turned on, I do live in a spot with good cell signal, and I did get one bogus report about the windows being down on the trip. But otherwise nothing to report. Car was left outside, locked, and not charging.

I certainly don’t want to trivialize those with 12v issues, as who knows I might end up in that boat as well in the future. Just wanted to add a data point.

Looking at used 2025 AWD Pro S Plus, what do check for?

Anything I should be on the look for (outside of general driving experience, obvious wear and tear?).

Any common maintenance issues with this iteration of the ID.4? Thinking kia ICCU or anything I should aware of?
