Touring ski boot fitter?

I have bought ski boots from Nick's before, but do I need to go to a touring specialist for AT boots? E.g. White Mountain Ski Co.

Relationships in your thirties

Genderslop incoming.

I was reflecting on that post the other day about finding romance in your 30s. Here are my observations from a single male in his 30s in NYC. The women in my life fall into 4 camps:

  1. Kind and pleasant women are all in loving relationships. The guys they are with vary in quality from fantastic, to those with the personality traits that their ex lacked, but still have some fatal flaw. I’m so happy for my friends in the former, and it feels like the latter has an expiration date, but I’m still supportive.
  2. Women in a relationship that is not advancing. Waiting for an engagement for 5+ years. This is the worst camp to be in.
  3. The perpetually unhappy women who prioritize looks above all else. These are people who have some insecurity about themselves and all subscribe to some version of FDS. However, they are all stuck in the pattern of throwing themselves at guys who are attractive, but have no interest in actually dating them. Almost all my single female friends are in this category.
  4. Single, career focused women. Good for them.

The men in my life:

  1. Every nice, successful, mid guy is married. They are in loving families. The ones that aren’t married are in LTRs heading there. The one successful, attractive guy I know who is into marriage has been divorced twice already!
  2. The attractive, successful guys are either volcel due to life stuff, in a relationship they don’t take seriously, or just being hedonistic.
  3. I know a lot of really wonderful guys who can’t get dates. They all have some set of undesirable physical traits, but are maxed out in other areas. I think this is the hardest/most-blackpilling area, because if one physical thing was different, they would be in group 1. Most would be interested in dating any woman with anything going for them, who is not obese.
  4. Unsuccessful, attractive guys are 50/50 in relationships or not.

You should play tetris

Tetris is fun! I like to play Tetris, and I don’t like that’s it’s been made a punchline. You can even play with friends!
