Honeywell thermostat jumping to 83

Honeywell thermostat jumping to 83

Hello all -

Our Honeywell thermostat is currently set to cooling and the temp manually set to low 70’s. Every couple of hours it will reset to 83.

I am out of town for the week and the outside temp will be in the 90’s F this week. My wife would prefer to not roast this week.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix the thermostat so it stays at the temp we set to?

We don’t use a program. We manually set the temp and leave it. It hasn’t been a problem in the years we have had this thermostat.

I believe it is a Honeywell RTH6350D.

Thank you for any suggestions.

Non Standard Faucet Connection?

Hello all -

I want to preface this with I know only a little about plumbing.  We’ve encountered an issue that, from inquiries I’ve made, may not have a satisfactory solution.

My wife received two decorative bathroom faucets for Christmas this last year.  Due to life, I didn’t get around to installing until just recently.  The problem I encountered is with the connection from the faucet hose to the shutoff valve connection.

From my understanding the faucet hose has a female 3/8” pipe fitting connection but the shutoff valve has a male 3/8” compression fitting.  Those two do not connect.

I haven’t been able to find any kind of adapter to make this work (actually found one, but it was $67 for a single adapter and I’d need 4).  Is there a way I can make this work?   Open to options!

Thanks in advance!

(Pic is of the end of the faucet hose)

Edit: I should also mention that the faucet host seems to be non standard on both ends. The end that connects to the faucet is male and I am not sure of the connection size/type. I’ll post a comment with another pic of the whole hose (done see a way to do it in an edit)
